Description

Richard I. shares how he and his wife used “The Twelve Piece Relationship Toolkit”  to save their marriage. He takes us through the content and questions, tradition by tradition. Stopping along the way, he shares how he and his wife used the questions and readings to rebuild their relationship.  The booklet he is using in this recorded workshop has a short reading and a set of questions for each Tradition. For instance, Tradition One: “Our common welfare should come first, personal recovery depends upon CoDA unity.” He shares how Tradition One can be applied to the relationship.  Our common welfare should come first. Personal growth within our relationship depends on unity.  Therefore, we must ask ourselves this key question.  Will this choice promote feelings of unity or disunity, on my partners’ part or on my part?

This is an amazing workshop that can be used in combination with the 12 Piece Relationship Toolkit Handbook. Our group has been using this on a regular basis to teach us how to use the Traditions with all our relationships.

I highly recommend this toolkit and I love having the audio of this presentation to listen to repeatedly. It’s been incredibly useful in helping me learn to take my recovery from codependence from inside my meetings into the outside world.

My CoDA meetings, work relationships, family relationships, friendships, and partnerships have ALL improved tremendously as I’ve worked the CoDA program, and this was a really helpful guide to help make that happen!

There are tons of takeaways in this presentation that have been easy for me to put into practice…. one teeny step at a time.

Thanks to all who did the service to make this happen. I am grateful.
